A large portion of my clients were brought to me by breeders. Illegal breeding, impure pedigrees, lack of documentation, and, most commonly, horrible conditions for raising puppies — it’s not about how cool (or not) the dog you choose might be, but about its development, nervous system state, experiences (which shape behavior), and health.

Will the dog be brave? Aggressive? Gentle? Fearful? Sociable? Prone to illness? Hyperactive or reactive? These and other aspects can be determined at the moment of choosing a puppy, and we all know that it’s easier to prevent problems than to fix them later.
